What this site does with your information.

Career Mine has no user accounts, no sign-in and no database behind the interactive tools on this site.

The discovery wizard, the skill map, the career explorer and the pathway explorer all run in your browser. Your selections and any text you type into them are held in the page's memory only, and are discarded when you close or reload the tab.

When you send the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message go to Career Mine and are stored in our customer-relationship system so that we can reply. Your IP address and browser details are recorded with them, to help keep out automated abuse.

The form tells you on screen whether your message was delivered.

When you use the Get Access page we collect your full name, email address, phone number, street address, city, state, ZIP code and country, what you are paying for, the amount, any note you add, and your acceptance of our policies. We also record your IP address, browser details, time zone, screen size and the random device identifier described under Cookies and tracking.

We use this to process the payment, issue receipts and invoices, keep the records the law requires, and protect you and us against fraud.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout, reached at pay.careermine.io. They go directly to Stripe and never reach Career Mine, and Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy.

We share information only with the service providers that run this site and its payments: Cloudflare (hosting and security), our customer-relationship system (enquiry and order records), Stripe (card payments) and our email provider. We also share it where the law requires it.

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking scripts.

If you submit the Get Access form, your browser's local storage keeps a random device identifier, which is sent with your payment details to help prevent fraud. The Stripe checkout is a separate page and may use its own cookies.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service to fetch them. That request is handled under Google's own privacy terms. Everything else on the page is served from this site.

The copy function in the discovery wizard writes your summary to your own clipboard. It is not sent anywhere, and we never see it.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted where the law allows, use the contact form or email finance@careermine.io.

If the site gains accounts, storage or analytics, this page will be updated to describe exactly what changed before the feature goes live.
